Buyer - Own Brand Womenswear (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

What you will do

• Own the performance of the womenswear category covering woven separates, dresses, and tailoring.
• Develop and deliver category strategies, range plans, pricing architecture, and promotional activity.
• Analyse weekly and monthly trading data to identify opportunities, manage risks, and recommend actions to senior stakeholders.
• Build supplier and manufacturer relationships and negotiate strong commercial outcomes.
• Partner with Merchandising and Marketing on campaigns, product launches, and paid media activity.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members in a fast-paced trading environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience in fashion buying, product, and category management.
• Experience developing and trading own-label ranges.
• Proven supplier relationship management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to combine strategic thinking and day-to-day delivery.
• Confidence analysing performance data and turning insights into action.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
