What you will do

• Build, launch, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts using Liquid and modern JavaScript.
• Develop reusable Online Store 2.0 sections, theme components, and custom storefront functionality.
• Integrate Shopify with third-party applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Translate product, design, and technical requirements into secure, accessible, and performant solutions.
• Use AI coding agents, critically review generated work, write automated tests, diagnose production issues, and monitor storefront performance.
• Participate in estimation, technical discovery, code reviews, client discussions, and cross-functional delivery with product, design, QA, and engineering colleagues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Shopify development experience, ideally including Shopify Plus.
• Experience with Shopify 2.0, custom themes, Storefront API, Liquid templating, and Shopify admin systems.
• Experience with JavaScript and preferably React.
• Experience implementing and debugging third-party Shopify apps and creating custom solutions.
• Knowledge of Shopify objects and properties, AJAX API, metafields, third-party services, and APIs.
• Strong testing, debugging, responsive layout, and browser-based troubleshooting skills.
