Staff Software Engineer (Hosting Services)

What you will do

• Lead the technical design and development of new customer-facing host products, services, and third-party integrations.
• Define scalable, reliable architectures for major systems and distributed services.
• Own products from discovery and ideation through launch, iteration, and product-market fit.
• Apply expertise across backend systems, APIs, frontend, mobile, and distributed architecture.
• Guide architectural decisions and maintain high standards for reliability, performance, efficiency, and user experience.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, data, and business stakeholders to align technical and commercial objectives.

Requirements

• 9+ years of software engineering experience in fast-paced, product-led technology environments.
• Strong backend engineering expertise with large-scale, service-oriented, and distributed systems.
• Experience building customer-facing products from zero to one and owning the full product lifecycle.
• Broad full-stack capability across backend, frontend, mobile, APIs, and system architecture.
• Strong architectural design skills covering distributed services, APIs, data pipelines, algorithms, and integrations.
• Sound technical judgment and the ability to balance delivery speed, experimentation, scalability, and long-term quality.
