Analytics Engineer (Python/SQL/dbt)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden. Hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines feeding ThoughtSpot and analytical tables.
• Transform source data into reusable, well-structured models with SQL and dbt.
• Use Python for data processing and automation across analytics workflows.
• Develop automated tests and validation checks to maintain data quality.
• Monitor pipeline reliability and performance, investigate failures, and resolve freshness issues.
• Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to define data requirements and document models, definitions, and dependencies.

Requirements

• Practical experience with SQL for data transformation and modeling.
• Hands-on experience with dbt.
• Experience using Python for data processing or automation.
• Understanding of data modeling for BI reporting and analytics.
• Structured approach to data quality, problem-solving, and scalable pipeline maintenance.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including translating business needs into data requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks.
• Background in the streaming or media industry.
