Senior Analytics Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Analytics Engineer: Creating, designing, and maintaining robust data architecture for game analytics and in-game experiences, developing ETL/ELT processes and data models. Location: Onsite in Stockholm, Sweden. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What you will do

• Develop and implement processes to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide reliable datasets and data marts.
• Design and implement scalable data models for in-game and out-of-game experiences.
• Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation, including dictionaries and schemas.
• Monitor data pipelines and systems, implementing automated data quality checks and alerts.
• Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code; conduct code and SQL reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Architect, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience designing efficient, scalable data models with large data sets.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, DBT).
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• CV in English is required.

Nice to have

• DBT experience is a big plus.
• GCP experience is a big plus.
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.
