Senior Analytics Engineer

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid work with office attendance required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain the data architecture and data lake.
• Extract, clean, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide reliable datasets and data marts.
• Design scalable data models covering in-game and out-of-game experiences, gaming KPIs, and user profiles.
• Create data dictionaries, schemas, metadata, and consistent documentation.
• Monitor pipelines, implement automated data quality checks, conduct SQL and code reviews, and improve system reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Architect, or in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills and experience designing efficient, scalable data models for large datasets.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, or dbt.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and Infrastructure as Code, such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Terraform.
• Ability to work from the Stockholm office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills are also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt or GCP.
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.
