Analytics Engineer

What you will do

• Develop data transformation workflows and build a robust data modeling foundation for self-service analytics.
• Create and maintain semantic layers that support analysis and decision-making across business domains.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-impact analytics opportunities and improve data literacy.
• Lead the resolution of critical data issues and establish monitoring systems and data reliability practices.
• Promote technical best practices, mentor junior engineers, and introduce relevant industry innovations.

Requirements

• Experience creating and maintaining semantic layers and working in Analytics Engineering, BI, Analytics, or Data Engineering.
• Deep expertise in SQL and data modeling, with experience using modern data stack technologies such as dbt, Looker, BigQuery, or equivalent tools.
• Ability to deliver performant, accurate, and scalable data solutions.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and driving technical improvements across a team.
• Ability to lead complex data projects, solve problems independently, and communicate technical concepts clearly to varied audiences.
• Ability to work in Stockholm, Sweden; application must be submitted in English.

• Experience working with Python.
• Experience with data governance, access management, and different data modeling schemas.
• Experience working with international teams and global data operations.
