Senior Data Engineer

Location: Stockholm, Sweden. Candidates must have the right to work in the location they are applying for. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are not provided.

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines.
• Maintain the data platform and keep its packages up to date.
• Develop clean, testable data models in dbt for analytics and business stakeholders.
• Partner with business teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Drive data quality, governance, and security across the data platform.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to keep the platform secure and reliable.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, DevOps practices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong data engineering design and architecture skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt.
• Experience with Dagster.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
