Staff AI/ML Scientist (Conversational AI)

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland, with 2 days per week in the office, or fully remote from Poland. Candidates must be eligible to work and live in Poland.

What you will do

• Design and test multi-turn, state-aware conversational systems using LLM reasoning loops and multi-agent orchestration frameworks.
• Adapt emerging generative and agentic AI frameworks for enterprise use cases in sustainable procurement, supply chain resilience, and decarbonisation.
• Build, benchmark, integrate, and maintain end-to-end AI/ML solutions using Python, MLflow, Azure, Azure ML, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
• Lead functional teams and initiatives that accelerate the adoption of Conversational AI across the organization.
• Work with customers to evaluate needs and recommend solutions that improve satisfaction and business value.
• Promote AI/ML best practices and mentor junior scientists and engineers.

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 8 years of overall experience in machine learning and NLP, including 4 or more years specializing in Conversational AI in production environments.
• Advanced knowledge of agentic frameworks and experience building autonomous or semi-autonomous agentic systems at scale.
• Experience leading end-to-end AI initiatives from design through implementation and integration, using strong software development practices.
• Strong mentoring, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration skills, including work with engineers and product managers.
• Eligibility to work and live in Poland is required.

Nice to have

• Experience building conversational interfaces for complex enterprise domains such as supply chain, procurement, or financial risk.
• Peer-reviewed publications in leading NLP or AI venues such as ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, AAAI, or KDD.
