Principal Software Engineer (GenAI)

Location: Hybrid in Krakow, Poland, with a minimum of 3 days per week from the office

Base salary: 205,700–313,400 PLN annually, with potential annual bonus or commission and additional benefits.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and scale Kubernetes-native Generative AI systems using Go, Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Build cloud-native microservices for knowledge retrieval, intelligent content processing, and AI-powered enterprise workflows.
• Establish testing, evaluation, and automation practices to improve the quality and reliability of GenAI systems.
• Evaluate emerging Generative AI models, tools, and use cases and integrate relevant advancements into products and platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Operations teams in an Agile environment.
• Own features end to end, from design and development through deployment, rollout, adoption, and impact measurement.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and building production-grade software systems.
• Hands-on experience applying Generative AI to real-world enterprise use cases and working with AI agents across the software engineering lifecycle.
• Experience with scalable, resilient, and highly available microservices architectures and cloud-native patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Go, Java, Python, or similar languages; Docker and Kubernetes; and deployment tools such as Terraform and Helm.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging Linux and common development stacks, including Tomcat and PostgreSQL.
• Strong written and spoken English and availability for the hybrid Krakow working arrangement are required.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or an equivalent Google Cloud or Azure certification.
• CKAD certification.
