Systems Engineer Ground Mission System (d/m/f) (Electronic Warfare)

What you will do

• Analyze avionics system designs, system requirements, and customer requirements.
• Define and adapt requirements for mission data generation and verification software, including workflows.
• Develop functions for RF emitter data extraction, mission data programming, consistency checks, and data bus processing.
• Create software requirements, design documentation, interface control documents, and test plans and procedures.
• Develop automated executable tests for technical specification verification.
• Prepare and participate in meetings with customer representatives and internal stakeholders while supporting agile team practices.

Requirements

• University degree or Master's degree in electronics, aeronautical engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of the systems and software engineering lifecycle, including experience across its phases.
• Knowledge of electronic warfare principles and interest in mission data for electronic warfare support.
• Knowledge of self-defensive systems, radar systems, electronic support systems, or related specialty areas.
• Good command of English required; German is an advantage.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of web-based application UI requirements and design principles.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git, and DOORS.
