Plant Manager (Food Manufacturing)

Salary: $145,000–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Direct day-to-day operations for the entire production facility and maintain efficient food production flow.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop departmental managers, supervisors, and production employees.
• Drive continuous improvement, change management, facility organization, and adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies.
• Partner with maintenance, engineering, operations, culinary, FSQA, QA, and supply chain teams to maintain equipment, product quality, food safety, inventory levels, and on-time deliveries.
• Manage plant budgets, expenditures, daily and quarterly KPI targets, data analysis, efficiency improvements, and waste reduction.
• Promote employee engagement and enforce safety standards, company policies, procedures, regulations, and GMPs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience within the food industry preferred.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing, processing, and warehousing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage people effectively.
• Experience owning and improving KPIs, with strong decision-making and performance-management skills.
• Proven leadership in continuous improvement, safety, and team building.
• Comfort with Microsoft Word and Excel, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced growing company.
