Solutions Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Remote, United States; company location listed as San Carlos, California.

Salary: $95,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience.

hirify.global is an early-stage robotics and AI startup developing autonomous and collaborative robots for warehouse and fulfillment operations.

What you will do

• Analyze customer operational data, including order profiles, SKU profiles, throughput requirements, and labor productivity.
• Design AMR solutions covering workflows, facility layouts, cart configurations, labor requirements, and productivity estimates.
• Build and analyze discrete-event simulations to validate performance, compare designs, identify bottlenecks, and support fleet sizing.
• Develop and modify warehouse layouts using AutoCAD and document assumptions, inputs, and solution recommendations.
• Participate in customer discovery calls, technical discussions, facility walkthroughs, site visits, demonstrations, proposals, and technical reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Software, Deployment, and Engineering teams while improving analytical tools, simulation models, and solution-development processes.

Requirements

• Experience working with large and imperfect real-world datasets and turning them into practical, data-driven solutions.
• Background in operations, automation, data science, engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate analytical results and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of throughput, capacity, and labor productivity.
• Comfort solving open-ended engineering problems, validating assumptions, and managing multiple customer projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to support customer engagements, demonstrations, and post-deployment activities.

Nice to have

• Experience with warehouse automation, including AMRs, AGVs, goods-to-person systems, conveyors, or sortation.
• Experience with discrete-event simulation software, preferably FlexSim.
• Strong Python skills for data processing, visualization, simulation, optimization, or engineering-tool development.
• Knowledge of warehouse optimization, WMS, WCS, logistics software, productivity models, capacity models, or ROI analysis.
• Technical customer, consulting, pre-sales, or project experience; Spanish or Portuguese fluency is a plus.
