Solution Architect (Cisco SDA): Designing and delivering enterprise Cisco Software-Defined Access architectures for campus LAN, WLAN, identity services, segmentation, and security integration with an accent on transition planning, migration design, and architecture governance. Focus on assessing existing environments, creating phased migration strategies, leading customer workshops, and supporting secure cutovers with minimal business disruption.

Salary: AUD 800–1,000 per day

What you will do
- Design end-to-end Cisco SDA architectures covering campus LAN, WLAN, identity services, segmentation, and security integration.
- Produce high-level and low-level designs, architecture diagrams, migration plans, implementation guides, and operational handover materials.
- Assess current network and security environments, conduct gap and impact analyses, and define phased migration, rollback, and cutover strategies.
- Lead customer workshops, discovery sessions, technical design reviews, and architecture decision discussions.
- Provide technical leadership during build, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and migration activities.
- Maintain architecture governance and ensure solutions meet security, scalability, resilience, performance, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in solution architecture, network architecture, or senior network engineering.
- Demonstrated experience with Cisco SDA transition or migration projects.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco SDA, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, campus LAN and WLAN architectures, routing and switching, segmentation, and network security.
- Experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise network solutions and producing detailed architecture documentation.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of network automation, orchestration, API integration, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
Nice to have
- Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security certification.
- Cisco DNA Center, Cisco SDA, or Cisco Certified Specialist certifications.
- Additional architecture or security certifications.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and software development principles for network and security platforms.
