Speech Localization Specialist (Spanish Commentary)

Location: San Diego, California, US; onsite collaboration with the San Diego Studio audio and commentary teams

Salary: $43.61–$65.43 USD per hour

What you will do

• Craft high-quality Latin American Spanish commentary and dialogue for MLBTheShow.
• Coordinate with the San Diego Studio Commentary Team and the UK-based localization team.
• Record, edit, master, and implement dialogue for interactive audio.
• Integrate game audio using proprietary tools and improve the supporting dialogue systems.
• Contribute technical expertise and innovative solutions to audio post-production workflows.
• Collaborate with audio, commentary, production, sound, and other internal development teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience, or one shipped AAA title or film/television project in a lead role.
• Fluent Latin American Spanish and the ability to translate seamlessly from English.
• In-depth knowledge of baseball.
• Professional written and verbal communication, leadership, teamwork, and accountability.
• Experience across dialogue production and post-production, preferably with interactive audio; familiarity with DAWs and proprietary game-audio tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and database management, plus relevant accredited education in audio, sound design, television, broadcasting, or game design.
