Treasury & P2P Manager

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada; hybrid role with regular in-office work. Standard hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work during month-end close, audits, and other time-sensitive deliverables.

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 CAD annually

What you will do

• Own weekly consolidated cash-flow forecasting, daily and weekly cash-position monitoring, liquidity planning, and funding recommendations across multiple entities.
• Coordinate intercompany cash transfers, banking activities, KYC requirements, payment execution, approval workflows, and payment-control improvements.
• Lead the full procure-to-pay process, including vendor setup, invoice intake, purchase-order matching, vendor master data, payment runs, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Provide functional leadership to the P2P team through work review, mentoring, training, performance feedback, and escalation support.
• Lead P2P month-end close activities, including AP cutoff, accruals, journal entries, payment clearing, subledger-to-GL reconciliation, reporting schedules, and audit support.
• Improve treasury and P2P procedures, controls, documentation, banking connectivity, cash forecasting, and system initiatives involving NetSuite, Tipalti, and AI tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience covering treasury or cash management, procure-to-pay or accounts payable, and leading or reviewing the work of others.
• CPA designation strongly preferred; equivalent demonstrated experience may be considered.
• Strong experience with cash positioning, cash-flow forecasting, liquidity monitoring, banking activities, payment controls, AP operations, vendor onboarding, and AP aging.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP for P2P transactions, including relevant accounting for fixed assets, contingencies, R&D, internal-use software, cash flows, related parties, and contract costs.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency environments, internal controls, fraud risk, segregation of duties, audit-ready documentation, NetSuite or Tipalti, advanced Excel, and AI productivity tools.
