Contracts Manager (AI)

Location: San Mateo, United States; hybrid

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements supporting customer and procurement relationships.
• Build scalable contracting and compliance frameworks for a growing legal team.
• Partner with legal, finance, and business teams to move agreements from request to signature.
• Manage multiple contract workstreams in parallel under fast timelines while maintaining quality.
• Own contract lifecycle processes, including post-signature obligation management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing commercial contracts in-house, at a law firm, or in a contracts or procurement function.
• Strong hands-on drafting and redlining experience across standard commercial contracts.
• Ability to carry negotiations independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
• AI-forward, builder’s mindset and demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve daily workflows.
