Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: United States; domestic travel to portfolio sites up to 50% of the time, including extended periods embedded at specific sites. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees due to export control requirements.

Base salary: $120,223–$180,334 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Work directly with site collaborators to understand business processes, identify opportunities, and define measurable digital solutions.
• Own prototypes and production solutions across discovery, prioritization, development, deployment, and post-launch iteration.
• Build full-stack software, APIs, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions that improve business operations.
• Lead client workshops, provide technical mentorship, resolve implementation issues, and support adoption.
• Contribute to scalable and reliable architecture, code reviews, documentation, playbooks, and reusable delivery assets.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols, data management standards, and AI governance requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions platform delivery, or technical implementation.
• Strong programming experience in Python or a similar language, with knowledge of APIs and systems integration.
• Experience with LLMs, generative AI pipelines, agent workflows, tool orchestration, or retrieval-augmented generation.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise deployments involving cloud infrastructure, identity/SSO, data access, and enterprise-system integrations.
• Strong communication, customer collaboration, ownership, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel domestically in the United States up to 50% of the time and meet export-control eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, quality, engineering services, supply chain operations, regulated industries, or governance-heavy environments.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Atlassian tools, and common enterprise integration approaches.
• Experience with product platformization, consulting, technical solution engineering, internal tools, or enterprise delivery leadership.
• Education in computer science, mathematics, software engineering, physics, or machine learning.
