Project Manager I/II (Automation)

Location: On-site in Schofield, Wisconsin, United States; minimum travel required

Base pay: $77,253–$105,903 per year

What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out of low- to mid-level automation projects.
• Coordinate manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, logistics, automation, facilities, and external vendors.
• Track project tasks, risks, issues, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder updates.
• Support design reviews, machine build and programming, factory acceptance testing, installation, and site acceptance testing.
• Improve the Machine Development Center project management framework, tools, processes, and templates.
• Work with senior project managers and cross-functional teams while taking on increasing responsibility.

Requirements

• Project Manager I: 2–4 years of relevant project or program management experience; Project Manager II: 4–6 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience managing projects across planning, execution, risk management, and delivery.
• Knowledge of Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies and tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Bird View, or Jira.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma fundamentals or principles.

Nice to have

• CAPM, PMP, or another project management certification.
• Exposure to automation, robotics, industrial equipment, or manufacturing environments.
