What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and document real-time embedded vehicle control software.
• Write maintainable C/C++ and Matlab autogenerated software for embedded platforms.
• Develop software controlling vehicle systems through network messaging and directly connected inputs and outputs.
• Support software for prototype, pilot, and production vehicles while meeting functionality, memory, performance, and maintainability requirements.
• Participate in peer reviews, estimation, technical proposals, decision analysis, and software design using UML.
• Collaborate with engineers, business support disciplines, suppliers, and other departments.

Requirements

• Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Internship experience or at least six months of related work experience.
• Ability to work with embedded C/C++ and Matlab autogenerated software.
• Ability to follow defined CMMI Level 3 processes and software engineering practices.
• Ability to travel off-site to support engineering projects.
• Employment is based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, Python, or CAN.
