Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager

Location: 100% on-site in Miamisburg, Ohio, United States, with less than 10% travel

What you will do

• Lead and manage all environmental, health, and safety programs for the Miamisburg manufacturing facility.
• Partner with plant leadership to develop a proactive, risk-based safety culture focused on Zero Harm and operational continuity.
• Implement and continuously improve the site EHS Management System in alignment with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and corporate standards.
• Oversee OSHA, EPA, Ohio EPA, fire code, hazardous waste, stormwater, and other environmental compliance obligations.
• Lead injury and near-miss investigations, manage CAPA activities, and drive reductions in recordable incidents.
• Supervise and develop EHS professionals and the Site Security Supervisor while supporting projects, audits, training, occupational health, and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in OSHA General Industry requirements, EPA and environmental compliance, and workers’ compensation.
• Experience leading complex injury investigations, CAPA processes, audits, training, and cross-functional risk reviews.
• Ability to walk production floors, climb stairs and ladders, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a high-activity manufacturing environment involving noise, chemicals, and temperature changes.
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Miamisburg, Ohio.

Nice to have

• CSP, ASP, CIH, or CHMM certification.
• Experience with Enablon or Smartsheet.
