What you will do

• Lead data integrity, remediation, and quality improvement initiatives supporting inspection programs.
• Perform desktop reviews, validate inspection data, and ensure inspection readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Design and modify business processes, evaluate system effectiveness, and develop process improvement plans.
• Perform root cause analysis, identify operational risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, data-quality issues, process improvements, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop requirements and support the testing and implementation of new tools and solutions while partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience with business process improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
• Must work and reside in California; the primary work location is Pomona and the position uses a hybrid work mode.
• Experience analyzing large, complex datasets from multiple sources and identifying trends, risks, and data-quality issues.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, LOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions, and automation or scripting.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal direction.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, SCE GeoView, Design Manager, and other operational systems of record.
• Experience with SAS Analytics and programming for reporting, data validation, and operational decision-making.
• Knowledge of inspection organizations and related operational processes.
