What you will do

• Analyze defect data, identify trends, and recommend process adjustments.
• Conduct experiments to evaluate process integration flows and optimize equipment configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot process flow issues.
• Enhance metrology strategies and support risk assessments.
• Contribute to yield improvement and continuous improvement projects in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a semiconductor-related STEM field.
• Experience with electrical or physical device characterization techniques such as I-V/C-V e-test, SEM, TEM, or spectroscopy, or experience with optical design or simulations.
• Be able to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of semiconductor processing fundamentals, including lithography, etch, film deposition, implant, or chemical-mechanical planarization.
• Experience with custom data analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, or JSL.
• Experience with physics simulation tools.
