Technology Development Foundry Engineering – Staff Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hybrid role based at an hirify.global site in the United States, with primary location in Hillsboro, Oregon; additional locations in Phoenix, Arizona; Folsom and Santa Clara, California; and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

What you will do

• Lead Multi-Project Wafer and New Product Introduction execution across the complete semiconductor manufacturing flow.
• Act as the primary customer-facing interface for silicon execution, device performance, manufacturing readiness, and technical issue resolution.
• Own customer-specific product and process integration challenges and coordinate enablement across engineering functions.
• Develop predictive yield models and project yield for test chips, shuttle vehicles, and production products.
• Investigate yield signals, nonconformances, device performance gaps, and systematic losses using root-cause analysis and failure analysis.
• Correlate inline process metrics with end-of-line yield performance to improve process control and production predictability.

Requirements

• Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant industry experience or PhD with 1+ years of relevant industry experience in electrical engineering, materials science, physics, chemical engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in product/process integration, device engineering, or yield engineering.
• Experience working across semiconductor technology development and product lifecycles from design tape-out through high-volume manufacturing.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with on-site work at an assigned hirify.global location in the United States.
