RF Technology Development Integration Engineer - PMTS (Semiconductor)

Location: Essex Junction, Vermont, United States; relocation to Essex Junction, VT is required

What you will do

• Lead the development, optimization, and qualification of FEOL and BEOL semiconductor devices and processes.
• Establish integration checkpoints, performance metrics, design rules, test structures, and technical success criteria.
• Evaluate tradeoffs across performance, manufacturability, reliability, yield, cost, and scalability.
• Drive process optimization through DOE methodologies, statistical analysis, and yield learning.
• Identify root causes, design experiments, and solve technical process problems.
• Collaborate with module engineers, failure analysis and characterization teams, customers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering, materials science, or a related engineering or physical science discipline; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with at least 11 years of relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in semiconductor processing and the ability to relocate to Essex Junction, VT.
• Experience with silicon or SiGe BiCMOS, RFSOI FEOL or BEOL processing, and/or semiconductor process development.
• Experience with Cadence or another layout and simulation tool, along with strong data analysis skills.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Ability to lead technical work, mentor engineers, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Eight or more years of experience in semiconductor processing or process development.
• Experience leading device or process development projects.
• Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, RF device behavior, RF characterization techniques, and S-parameters.
• Experience with process optimization, yield enhancement, reliability qualification, and root-cause analysis.
• Customer-facing experience and the ability to present technical results to senior management and external stakeholders.
