Software Engineer (AI)

Location: In-person in San Francisco, United States

Salary: $125K–$400K per year, plus 0.01%–1% equity

What you will do

• Design and build scalable systems that generate reinforcement-learning environments.
• Create agentic QA systems to validate environment quality and fairness.
• Work directly with AI researchers to understand and improve training data effectiveness.
• Handle petabyte-scale ETL and orchestrate millions of concurrent jobs.
• Support new product lines beyond coding environments.
• Manage security posture and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 1–10 years of experience writing production software; new graduates are welcome.
• Experience building full-stack applications with a popular programming language.
• Meticulous problem-solving skills and the ability to create robust systems under time pressure.
• Strong systems-level thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in person in San Francisco.
