Manager, BOC Operations - NBC Sports

Location: Full-time on-site in Stamford, Connecticut, United States. Must be willing to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: $100,000–$112,000 per year, bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Manage daily Stamford Sports Facility operations supporting on-air production needs.
• Plan, book, monitor, and coordinate high-profile sporting events and remote productions.
• Develop transmission and connectivity plans and distribute technical information to internal and external partners.
• Coordinate with media outlets, master controls, NBC affiliates, independent networks, and vendors.
• Schedule live ingest for NBC Sports and Peacock and respond to breaking news transmission needs.
• Track project budgets and operate routers, video scopes, multiviewers, and communications panels.

Requirements

• BA/BS in communications, television production, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in TV production, broadcast operations, or satellite operations, or 7+ years of experience with ingest or live master control.
• Knowledge of satellite and fiber transmission and format specifications.
• Strong multitasking, computer, interpersonal, and communication skills, including Microsoft 365.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Must work full-time on-site in Stamford and remain flexible for nights, weekends, holidays, and last-minute schedule changes.

Nice to have

• Experience with AirSpeed, Media Grid, Telestream, and file transfer functions.
• Knowledge of ScheduALL or a similar broadcast/news scheduling system.
• Sports knowledge and experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
