PT Material Manager

Location: CA-Los Angeles; 5800 Sunset Blvd (Tribune-KTLA). Onsite position.

Salary: $25 per hour; wage increase negotiable based on qualifications.

hirify.global operates KTLA and produces live news and special events broadcasts.

What you will do

• Assist news producers, writers, and the newscast director with preparing and coordinating production elements for live newscasts.
• Coordinate edited video content, track server playout status, and communicate content and news feed schedules.
• Provide desktop editing support for news bumps and teases using Adobe Premiere.
• Perform quality analysis of news feed video and edited content before broadcast.
• Maintain the news video archive database, research archival requests, and prepare end-of-shift status reports.
• Provide production assistance for news and special events and develop skills to cover associate director relief shifts.

Requirements

• Training and certification in Communications, Television Production, or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of experience in live news production.
• Knowledge of pre-production processes, production technology, and workflow.
• Working knowledge of ENPS, Bit Central, Adobe Premiere, Ross Xpression, or equivalent systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to plan, prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and remain composed under deadline pressure.
