Program Manager (Embedded Systems)

Location: Onsite five days a week at the Mossville, Illinois or Irving, Texas office; domestic relocation assistance available; travel up to 10–15%.

Salary: $159,120–$238,680 per year.

What you will do

• Lead collaboration between the Excavation Division and Intelligent Machine Systems engineering teams for excavator electronic systems and software programs.
• Align project portfolios, hardware and software scope, schedules, costs, and R&D budgets.
• Coordinate processes and procedures across multiple component and software development teams.
• Monitor program execution, quality standards, deadlines, risks, and technical issue resolution.
• Translate corporate objectives into program objectives and build alignment among project teams and stakeholders.
• Lead teams through project completion and capture lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience; an advanced engineering degree is preferred.
• Experience with systems, controls, and/or embedded software development.
• Experience with new product introduction, new technology introduction, continuous product improvement, and product validation.
• Knowledge of requirements management, design quality, validation, functional safety, and cybersecurity processes.
• Strong systems thinking, technical decision-making, risk management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week in Mossville, Illinois or Irving, Texas; visa sponsorship is not available.
