Senior Product Owner DevSecOps

Location: Remote Kentucky, with other remote locations listed in Texas, Florida, the District of Columbia, and Colorado; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required. This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.

Salary: $104,000–$143,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Manage and communicate the product vision and roadmap to Agile delivery teams in alignment with technology standards and strategy.
• Build, maintain, articulate, and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Define product features, epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria in small increments of value.
• Partner with product management and senior management to align the roadmap with strategic objectives and incorporate stakeholder input.
• Represent the customer voice, clarify requirements, negotiate tradeoffs, and provide product subject matter expertise to delivery teams.
• Define key metrics and drive quality, innovation, privacy, security, developer experience, and product delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant information technology field, such as Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of technical experience, including at least 3+ years working in an application security, DevSecOps, or product security team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others.
• Experience translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions on complex issues with minimal supervision.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for continuously improving consumer experiences, developer experience, privacy, security, quality, and product delivery.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, SAFe, and Agile transformation.

Nice to have

• Certified Scrum Product Owner certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of information security management frameworks, including ISO 27001/27002, ITIL, COBIT, NIST, and BSIMM.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, IAST, and related tooling.
• Professional cybersecurity certification such as CISSP or CISA.
