Maintenance Technician, Multifamily

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, USA; on-site attendance required with travel between properties

Salary: $21.25–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare apartments for move-in through painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, housekeeping, and general repairs.
• Respond to resident service requests and after-hours emergencies through on-call scheduling.
• Perform maintenance involving plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and snow removal where applicable.
• Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, dog parks, vacant units, and model units.
• Report maintenance concerns and complete scheduled work assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain tools and equipment, and provide professional customer service.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license, EPA 608 Type II certification, and CPO or locally required certification.
• High school diploma, GED, trade, technical, or vocational school education.
• 1+ year of related experience.
• Ability to read maintenance and safety documentation, perform basic calculations, write routine reports, and follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Ability to work on-site outdoors between properties in varying weather conditions and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Knowledge of applicable state, local, and federal fair housing laws.
