HVAC Technician (HVAC)

Location: Whitakers, North Carolina, USA; onsite role supporting a 24/7 manufacturing plant

Salary: $23.80–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, operation, and repair of HVAC-related mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Maintain HVAC, facility service, and utility systems supporting continuous plant operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including filtration changes, lubrication, belt and pulley adjustments, and bearing replacement.
• Repair pumps, conveying systems, piping, and other building and equipment components.
• Respond to plant emergencies, equipment downtime, and customer service calls.
• Lead daily turnover meetings, complete maintenance logs, and identify root causes with countermeasures.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical equipment and controls.
• Ability to perform multi-craft maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a high-volume manufacturing environment operating 24/7.
• Ability to complete maintenance records, material requests, and job status documentation.
