HVAC Technician - Rental Services (HVAC)

Location: Springfield, Tennessee, United States. Field-based work is conducted on-site at customer locations, with the primary work performed at the Service Center. Occasional overnight travel, overtime, and on-call rotation may be required.

Hourly base pay: $26.35–$49.92 per hour.

What you will do

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and refurbish commercial HVAC rental equipment at the Service Center.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues and complete corrective actions.
• Support equipment startup, commissioning, operational testing, installation, teardown, and repairs at customer sites.
• Load, unload, stage, and move rental equipment within the Service Center using powered industrial vehicles.
• Coordinate equipment readiness and customer demand with team leaders, project managers, and operations teams.
• Document inspections, repairs, service activity, and equipment condition while following safety and PPE requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of commercial HVAC experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions within the previous three years.
• Ability to work safely in Service Center and customer job-site environments, including overtime, occasional overnight travel, and a 24-hour on-call rotation.
