Bilingual Outside Loan Originator (Chinese/English)

What you will do

• Source mortgage leads and develop referral networks with real estate agents and other partners.
• Market mortgage products and explain available loan types, credit options, terms, and services to customers.
• Meet with applicants, collect information, generate complete loan applications, and obtain additional documentation as needed.
• Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to assess loan feasibility.
• Coordinate with processing and underwriting to resolve application issues and maintain communication with referral sources.
• Attend closings, open houses, seminars, trainings, and other mortgage sales activities.

Requirements

• Fluency in Chinese and English to communicate with internal and external customers.
• Active NMLS license required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.
• Knowledge of retail mortgage products, policies, underwriting procedures, documentation, and systems.
• Experience proactively soliciting new business and strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Experience with Encompass.
• Participation in mortgage education, professional organizations, or related networks.
