Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Latin America

hirify.global provides nearshore staff augmentation and technology solutions to U.S. companies; the client operates a data-driven pediatric mental health platform using collaborative care, coaching, therapy, and licensed pediatric psychiatry.

What you will do

• Work with non-technical stakeholders to understand workflows and identify opportunities for AI-enabled improvements.
• Design and own solution architecture end to end, including applications, infrastructure, tooling, and deployment.
• Build and ship internal tools such as autonomous agents, web applications, microservices, system integrations, and suitable LLM-powered features.
• Use AI coding tools to prototype quickly, present working versions to users, and iterate based on feedback.
• Explain technical decisions and progress to stakeholders in plain language, report to engineering management, and flag gaps early.
• Set up local environments, work with the platform team on production deployment, and follow data privacy, security, and governance controls.

Requirements

• Senior-level full-stack engineering experience with the ability to design and build applications end to end.
• Strong Java or Python experience, with React preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including translating technical work for non-technical stakeholders.
• Product sense: ability to visualize products, understand stakeholder needs, and propose suitable solutions without a ticket or specification.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI and an AI-first daily workflow.
• Experience integrating LLMs into applications, or strong full-stack experience combined with relevant AI prototypes; production LLM experience is not mandatory.
• Autonomy in owning architecture, infrastructure, and tooling and reporting progress without task-by-task management.
• Basic infrastructure experience with containers, Kubernetes, and AWS, including running services locally and working with a platform team on production deployment.
• Successful completion of the client AI transformation assignment, including a recorded video.
