Senior Data Analyst (Data Quality & Reporting)

What you will do

• Define and run data-quality checks and reconciliation logic against curated finance data and approved accounting benchmarks.
• Validate migrated and re-pointed reports and dashboards through legacy-versus-new parallel runs and tolerance checks.
• Profile data-quality issues, investigate reconciliation variances, and document root causes with Data Engineering.
• Build and maintain data-quality dashboards and reports in Power BI or an equivalent enterprise BI tool.
• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to establish acceptance criteria and quality thresholds.
• Prepare reconciliation results, parallel-run comparisons, sign-off packages, and maintainable documentation for delivery gates and handoff.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a data analyst or BI analyst with strong hands-on SQL for querying, validation, and reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience building or validating reports and dashboards in Power BI or a comparable enterprise BI tool.
• Experience with a data-quality or reconciliation methodology, such as dbt tests, Great Expectations, or structured manual reconciliation.
• Experience working with accounting data and closed-period reconciliation constraints.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written documentation skills; experience with a cloud data warehouse, preferably Snowflake.
• Fluent English at B2 level is required for coordinating quality findings and delivery evidence with client stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial or GL reporting, including charts of accounts, dimensions, and close processes.
• Experience validating report or dashboard migrations from legacy source systems.
• Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial-services reporting.
