Senior Business Recruiter

Location: In-person at the NYC headquarters in Union Square, New York City

Salary: $150K–$200K plus equity

What you will do

• Lead complex, senior, and specialized searches from kickoff through offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers and functional leaders across Product, Design, Marketing, Sales, Finance, People, and Operations.
• Advise on candidate profiles, evaluation criteria, hiring tradeoffs, assessments, and debriefs.
• Build targeted sourcing campaigns and relationships with sought-after passive candidates.
• Develop tailored closing strategies and lead complex offer negotiations.
• Use data and market insights to diagnose recruiting challenges, improve hiring outcomes, mentor teammates, and develop AI agent workflows for recruiting operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in recruiting or related people functions, including 3+ years independently managing and closing full-cycle searches.
• Experience hiring across business or technical functions, including senior, specialized, and difficult-to-fill roles.
• Strong judgment in clarifying hiring needs, assessing candidates, and advising leaders using data and market insights.
• Strong sourcing and closing skills, including experience engaging sought-after talent and navigating competitive offer negotiations.
• Collaborative communication, reliable follow-through, humility, openness to feedback, and willingness to share knowledge.
