What you will do

• Develop high-quality, maintainable software for the Maestro platform.
• Work across the software development lifecycle, including development, builds, testing, and test automation.
• Test software developed by other team members and create automated tests.
• Collaborate with developers and testers across multiple teams.
• Contribute to special technical projects as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience after completing Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent program.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and core software engineering concepts.
• Experience writing robust, maintainable, unit-test-covered code.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from the Ottawa office.

Nice to have

• Professional development experience with C++.
• Practical experience with unit testing and test automation.
• Experience with Java, C#, or TypeScript.
• Network programming experience.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and Kubernetes.
