What you will do
- Lead and define full-stack architecture within scrum teams, ensuring technical vision aligns with business goals.
- Write clean, efficient Ruby and TypeScript code while establishing best practices.
- Own architectural planning, documentation, and design for distributed systems.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Mentor engineers across all levels through pair programming, design reviews, and coaching.
- Collaborate with product and design stakeholders to deliver robust platform solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expert proficiency in full-stack development with Ruby on Rails and TypeScript.
- Solid experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and relational database design.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable, distributed, and event-driven systems.
- Demonstrated leadership experience guiding multiple engineering teams.
- Must reside and be able to work full-time in one of the approved US states or Ontario, Canada.

- Experience with Angular.
- Exposure to NoSQL systems.
