Yield Product Development Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Hybrid role based at hirify.global sites in Hillsboro, Oregon, or Phoenix, Arizona, United States

What you will do

• Develop methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze fab, defect, electrical, and other large-scale data sources.
• Perform statistical analysis, build visualizations, and create yield models and process development roadmaps.
• Use advanced statistics, machine learning, and coding to identify anomalies and root-cause yield limiters.
• Develop multivariate algorithms, measurement recipes, and computational tools to improve yield, product quality, and debug efficiency.
• Collaborate with design teams, equipment vendors, and factory task forces on design-technology co-optimization, experiments, and new product introductions.
• Document procedures, train colleagues, and debug equipment, software, and process failures in production environments.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in semiconductor science, engineering, physical science, computer science, or a related STEM field.
• At least 5 years of experience with a Master’s degree or at least 2 years with a Ph.D. in advanced semiconductor devices and process flow.
• Experience with semiconductor process, defect, electrical, and yield data analysis.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement at an hirify.global site in the United States.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience with data analysis systems and software tools.
• At least 2 years of experience in yield projection using EOL signals and in-line parameters.
• Project or program management experience and the ability to work across matrixed organizations.
