Senior Process Engineer (Lean Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own the process improvement and project portfolio for new and existing products.
• Investigate, analyze, and develop manufacturing processes, equipment layouts, workflows, tooling, test systems, and machine designs.
• Coordinate Kaizen and continuous improvement activities using standard work, one-piece flow, visual controls, 5S, and variability reduction.
• Lead manufacturing engineering projects focused on reducing cycle time and improving productivity and quality.
• Perform root cause analysis using RCA, 5 Why, and 8D methods, then drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Mentor peers and early-career engineers while supporting quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, or industrial engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Analytical and statistical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with Minitab, JMP, or similar software.
• Experience with process improvement and process control methodologies such as DMAIC, Six Sigma, Lean, and SPC.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and quality tools including MSA, R&R, and PFMEA.
• Experience with database tools, programming for database maintenance and reporting, CAPEX project management, and hands-on tooling and equipment troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Working knowledge of LabVIEW and SolidWorks.
• Experience integrating automation technology and vision systems.
• Knowledge of DFM and lean production flow.
