Manager / Senior Manager, Strategic Analytics (AI)

What you will do

• Lead, hire, coach, and develop a team of 2–5 analysts and senior analysts; at Senior Manager level, oversee team leads or managers when applicable.
• Own the analytics pod’s project portfolio from problem definition and work planning through executive recommendations.
• Prioritize projects with senior leadership and align analytical work with company goals across Sales, Operations, Product, Marketing, Finance, and IT.
• Design and deploy AI agents, automated workflows, and reusable analytical tools to improve the speed, scale, and consistency of the team’s work.
• Establish governed analytics practices, including standardized metric definitions, reproducible methods, and verification of AI-assisted outputs.
• Apply experiment design, causal inference, like-for-like comparisons, data visualization, and executive storytelling to drive business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or another quantitative field; an MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in strategy, analytics, or consulting, preferably 8+ years, including people leadership or project leadership experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL, Python, cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Applied experience with experiment design and causal inference, with the ability to identify invalid or non-comparable analyses.
• Demonstrated use of LLMs, AI agents, or automated workflows in analytical work, with sound judgment about their capabilities and limitations.
• Strong problem structuring, prioritization, communication, executive presentation, coaching, and talent-development skills.

Nice to have

• Management consulting experience with hypothesis-driven problem solving and executive-ready storytelling.
• Experience in insurance, automotive, auctions, marketplaces, or logistics.
• Formal people-management experience, including performance reviews and compensation cycles.
• Experience leading an analytics team through a transition to AI-enabled ways of working.
