What you will do

• Lead semiconductor integration architectures supporting scalable quantum computing platforms.
• Define integration strategies across front-end devices, BEOL routing, photonic interfaces, advanced packaging, interconnects, and quantum-specific process modules.
• Develop technology roadmaps, integrated process flows, integration checkpoints, performance metrics, and technical success criteria.
• Optimize integration using design of experiments, statistical analysis, process windows, and yield-learning techniques.
• Lead root-cause investigations, corrective actions, predictive modeling, and technology maturation activities.
• Coordinate with device engineering, process development, manufacturing, reliability, modeling, packaging, design enablement, customers, and external partners.

Requirements

• Associate degree, BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in semiconductor process integration, technology development, or advanced manufacturing.
• Demonstrated expertise in semiconductor integration, process development, or technology commercialization.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical programs or major development initiatives.
• Strong analytical, experimental design, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to work in the USA - New York - Malta location.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced semiconductor integration, BEOL technologies, photonics integration, advanced packaging, or heterogeneous integration.
• Knowledge of quantum computing hardware architectures, ion trapping, photonic systems, or cryogenic electronics.
• Experience with government, commercial, or academic R&D partnerships and funded programs.
• Familiarity with MES systems, foundry processing, and transitioning research technologies into manufacturing.
