AI-First Design Engineer

What you will do

• Translate complex business requirements and user needs into intuitive product experiences.
• Rapidly prototype, iterate and ship features using AI-powered tools.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, users and domain experts from concept through implementation.
• Design clear, efficient and accurate workflows for complex, data-heavy enterprise software.
• Contribute to the AI-first design system, including components, tokens, layouts, accessibility and interaction patterns.
• Validate solutions with users and refine them based on feedback, technical constraints and business needs.

Requirements

• Hybrid design and engineering background with hands-on coding experience and strong UX, UI and usability knowledge.
• Experience using modern AI tools, including Claude, Figma and MCP integrations, in design, prototyping or development workflows.
• Understanding of scalable design systems, reusable components, design tokens, accessibility and technical frameworks.
• Experience working with codebases, GitHub and modern frontend technologies.
• Experience designing or building complex, data-dense B2B SaaS, enterprise or workflow-driven products.
• Experience in startup or scaleup environments, with strong product judgement and the ability to balance user, business and technical needs.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, tax technology, compliance or other complex regulated industries.
