Software Development Manager (Java/Angular)

Location: Remote within Central and Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Belarus, or Turkey

What you will do

• Manage freelance software development teams working on enterprise-level projects.
• Lead development of hirify.global' internal software products.
• Coordinate delivery using Scrum, Kanban, and other agile methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and security measures.
• Support unit and integration testing across backend and frontend development.

Requirements

• Advanced Java backend and Angular 6/7 frontend skills.
• 5–15 years of software development experience and experience managing development teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related subject.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, project management, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Experience with security measures, AWS, HTML, and CSS.
• Fluent English and advanced communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Node, React, frontend dependency management, and CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
• Unit or end-to-end testing with Jest, Jasmine, or Mocha.
• Git workflows, load-time optimization, and experience working with remote teams.
