NPC Production Planner II (B2) (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Maintain SAP production order release schedules and MRP start and end dates to support on-time material availability.
• Review MRP execution, reconcile supply and demand, validate master scheduling, and perform pre-shortage analysis.
• Manage inventory levels, material shortages, usage data, variances, expediting activities, and service-level requirements.
• Coordinate engineering change orders with buyers and planners and ensure correct material disposition.
• Resolve work-in-process inventory issues with Finance, audit physical inventory, and provide material shortage updates in production meetings.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and support planning-process training for other employees.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in production planning or a related discipline, with basic knowledge of related areas.
• Knowledge of best practices and how planning integrates with other business functions.
• Ability to solve complex problems using multiple sources of information and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus across teams.
• Ability to support colleagues with less experience and lead small projects.
• Regular work is based in Austin, Texas; relocation is not available.
