Salesforce Quality Engineering Lead (Salesforce)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $83,100–$141,300 USD base pay annually.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate QA activities and testers across Salesforce projects, releases, and delivery teams.
• Define test strategies, plans, cases, regression suites, and consistent testing standards.
• Coordinate manual, automated, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Drive platform-level implementation and adoption of Copado Robotic Testing.
• Manage defect tracking, triage, retesting, risks, and release-readiness activities.
• Ensure coverage of Salesforce configuration, Flows, security, Apex, Lightning components, APIs, and system integrations.

Requirements

• U.S. work authorization is required without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
• Strong Salesforce quality assurance and testing experience, including QA team leadership or coordination.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, test planning, execution, regression testing, and test automation.
• 7+ years of hands-on API testing experience, including system integrations, request and response validation, error handling, and end-to-end workflows.
• Knowledge of Salesforce objects, data relationships, security, automation, configuration, and custom development.
• Experience with database or development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer or Microsoft Visual Studio, plus Agile and Scrum delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with Copado Robotic Testing, Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, or other test automation tools.
• Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer, or Copado certifications.
