Windows System Administrator (Windows)

Location: Wright-Patt AFB, OH – NASIC / Beavercreek, OH, United States. Normal business hours are expected, with occasional non-business-hours support.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and enhance Windows Server and network systems in a classified environment.
• Provide backup and recovery services, manage file systems and disk space, and support continuity of operations.
• Test enterprise system software updates for compatibility and minimal user impact.
• Perform system and network performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain technical processes, procedures, best practices, and documentation.
• Provide occasional support outside normal business hours when required.

Requirements

• Active Top-Secret clearance with immediate SCI eligibility.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Windows Server 2019/2022 servers in a classified environment.
• Experience installing and backing up PostgreSQL databases.
• Knowledge of security operations, security safeguards administration, and information assurance.
• Security+ certification or a higher-level network security certification.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Linux systems.
• Experience with Tomcat, Apache, web server installations, and PKI infrastructure.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation.
• Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, and network tools.
