Accounts Payable / Accounts Assistant

Location: City of London, London, United Kingdom

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum plus a strong bonus

Established private equity investment manager supporting listed funds.

What you will do

• Process purchase invoices and fund transactions from receipt through to payment.
• Prepare and manage weekly payment runs using NetSuite.
• Complete weekly bank reconciliations and post cash journals.
• Manage bank account administration, including openings, closures, signatory updates, and KYC requests.
• Prepare director fee, group relief, and ad hoc invoices, tracking payments and outstanding items.
• Support dividend payment documentation, project distributions, Payment Practices Reporting, and finance automation projects.

Requirements

• Previous accounts payable and bank account management experience.
• Experience with payment runs, bank reconciliations, and cash journals.
• ERP experience, ideally NetSuite.
• Confident Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisation.
• Strong communication skills when working with internal teams, banks, and external service providers.
• Proactive approach to process improvement and maintaining robust financial controls.
