Financial Accountant (Life Sciences)

hirify.global is partnering with a leading global life sciences and diagnostics organisation undergoing a divestiture and finance transformation programme.

What you will do

• Support the establishment of new legal entities, accounting structures, and finance processes.
• Prepare and review balance sheets, P&L statements, and financial reports.
• Support M&A, divestiture, separation accounting, and opening balance sheet activities.
• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, group reporting, journals, and consolidations.
• Assist with finance systems implementation, testing, and transition activities.
• Identify accounting risks, resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and project teams.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or finalist preferred.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation and P&L analysis skills.
• Ability to work across technical accounting and project-related activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Available immediately or at short notice.

Nice to have

• Experience in M&A accounting and Purchase Price Allocation.
