Account Manager (Issuer Services)

Location: Hamilton, Bermuda; hybrid working

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of clients, primarily Bermuda-registered insurance companies.
• Provide accounting, administrative, banking, regulatory compliance, and reporting support.
• Maintain or supervise client accounting records and prepare financial statements under US GAAP or IFRS.
• Liaise with clients, bankers, brokers, auditors, regulators, and other service providers.
• Prepare statutory financial returns under the Bermuda Insurance Act 1978.
• Support new business development, marketing, listing services, and procedure reviews.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant, such as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Detailed knowledge of preparing GAAP- and IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Ability to apply internal controls and compliance procedures in client service situations.
• Insurance or funds-related experience is preferred.
